The tiff driver allows you to acquire any document you can print.  In this manner you do not need to print then scan a document.

For example you receive a policy attached to a email.  This policy is 50 pages.  You can simply send it to the tiff driver.  You will be asked for the client it goes to.  It will convert the document & save it to the correct client.  This document is then available on line.  You save the cost of paper & ink.   

You can acquire any type of document, like pdf's, word documents, rate quotes, web pages or anything you can print.
